The Core Strategy is the key document in the Milton Keynes Local Development Framework (LDF). Upon adoption, the Core Strategy will provide the vision, objectives and overarching strategy for the development of the Borough to 2026 and beyond.
As part of the Core Strategy: Preferred Options consultation held between 27th September and 8th November 2007, the Council received 3,579 responses from over 200 individuals and organisations. The Council has used these representations to inform the preparation of the forthcoming Core Strategy: Submission Version.
Since the consultation period, the Council has reviewed the comments made and prepared brief responses. These responses were written during 2008 and as such, the information they contain may now have been superseded where circumstances have changed. However, the forthcoming Core Strategy: Submission Version will reflect the most up-to-date situation at the time it is approved, which may, as discussed, have superseded the Council's comments in response to the Preferred Options representations.

Pre-submission consultation on the Core Strategy: Submission Version is anticipated to take place for a twelve-week period late in 2009. More details will be added to this website in due course.
